Open Days

We are pleased to invite you to our three open days which we organize on Friday, October 13th, from 12 pm to 9 pm. On Saturday and Sunday, October 14th and 15th from 10 am to 7 pm in our warehouse located in Rue de Chambery, 45 in Etterbeek - Brussels.
Our shop will exceptionally be closed for these three days.

Small Items:
A lot of beautiful samurai dolls - A pair of hinaningyo (emperor & empress) - 1 andon (lamp) - Dai (show stand) - 2 goban (go game set) - Many hon (books) - 1 ittomasu (rice mesure) - 1 jizaikagi (trammel) - 4 kadai (bonsai's display table) - Furin (summer bells) - Hyotan (sake flask) - Many kakemono (scroll) - 1 kami-dana (shinto family's altaar) - 1 omen (mask) - 1 ranma (ornament which is placed on top of sliding doors) - 5 soroban (abacus) - 1 haizara & 1 tabakobon (ashtray set) - 1 teaburi (hand-warmer) - 7 tetsubin (kettle) - 1 kattshya (pulley) - 1 tsuridoro (lantern) - 2 usubata (Ikebana vase) - Many statuettes - Obis (kimono sash), kimonos, haori and other traditional Japanese clothes - Owan (lacquered bowls) - Iko (kimono stand) - Sudare (blind) - Some multi-purpose baskets: 1 biku (fish basket), 2 kago (food basket), 2 hanaire (ikebana stand) - Multi-purpose cases and boxes: 1 suzuri-bako (portable writing box-safe), many hari-bako (used for sewing), some kohikidashi (small drawers' chest), 1 zeni-bako (money-box), 1 kyodai (dressing), Ju-bako & bento-bako (lunch lacquered box) - various items for fishing & farming - Kashigata (rice cake pattern) - Obon (tray) - Vases - Some accessories as well as various ornament and little contemporary traditional Japanese style crockery.

Furnitures:
Many mizuya-dansu (kitchen cabinet) of various sizes - Several isho-dansu (kimono and personal garments chest) - Some choba-dansu (merchant chest) - Some cha-dansu (tea chest) - Monoire-dansu (storing chest) - Many ko-dansu (small multi-purpose furniture) - To (old doors) - A very nice yakjang (Korean medecine chest) - many Korean Chests - Some hibachi (brazier table) - Low tables - Low desks - Etc..

Our selection criteria: all the pieces that we bring back must be genuine, have less than 15% of restoration and have been made before WW2. More recent pieces are not excluded if they represent traditional Japan and are very rare as antique.
