We are pleased to welcome you on our site which is dedicated to Japanese art. Outside antiques and collectables from Japan, you will also find here some info about our activities, a few tips about tansu, traditional music CD and books about Japanese antiques.

Since 1987, we have spent 2-3 months a year mostly in the South of Japan, where we find our pieces through small dealers and local people.
We then need to restore or at least clean up most of our pieces before finally exposing them in our shop.

After the arrival of our containers , we organize two open days (in spring and in autumn) where you can be the first to discover our last acquisitions. We also organize various exhibitions about Japanese art.

Next Open Days: Spring 2010

You will find here most of the pieces that are in our shop such as: tansu, mizuya, choba, kaidan, ningyo, mingei, ikebana & chado items, okimono, sagemono, kakemono and many more.

We ship worldwide and use secured credit cards payment

November 2009: we have just added over 150 new items and removed from the catalogue most of the items which were sold out.
You can however already have a peak here at these items on a video we made a hour before the open days started.
Thank you for your patience.
